Spending time in the country

Not going into Wantirna Knox for work today Driving up to the country, watching the hills out the window, wow, it's beautiful up here even on the way. I'm only an hour and a half away from Melbourne. Where we are going is a small country town. They have a post office, a bakery, a couple of motels, and an interesting café that's only open on weekends. It does Devonshire tea, so scones with jam and cream, and tea. I'm getting hungry writing about it. And the bakery has the biggest vanilla slice. Enough about food. The birds are interesting. The cockatoos fly in big packs of about 50 and make really loud sounds. You can hear them coming. There are rosellas, too. There are rabbits, and they are much bigger than the ones you see in Melbourne. The sunsets are beautiful: imagine a dark orange light shining through the trees and glistening off the mountains. It's beautiful. Thanks for reading.
