Good morning, everyone! I'm back at Wantirna Knox at work, and it feels great to be back. I'm sure all of you are wondering what I'm going to write about today. I'm going to write about sleep because I've been having trouble sleeping lately.
Sleep is so important for your mental and physical health because it restores and repairs the brain, helping cognitive functions like memory, learning, attention, and mood. No one likes to be moody, so not having enough sleep can bring anxiety and depression to some. Here are some things I do for better sleep:
1. If I wake up in the night, I have a tea or glass of water, and then I often i can get back to sleep.
2. Though I don't do this often, an evening walk around the block can help with getting to sleep.
3. Using aromatherapy techniques like spraying lavender on your bed or around the bedroom can be beneficial.
4. Listening to meditation or calming music also helps.
