Good afternoon, readers!
I'm writing from home today, not Wantirna in the Knox area, and I want to talk about Men's Health Week, which runs from June 9 to June 15, 2025.
This week aims to highlight the health challenges faced by men and promote better health and wellbeing for men of all ages. Men's mental health is just as important as physical health.
Yet, men are often less likely to seek help for issues like depression, anxiety, or stress. As a result, suicide rates and mental illness remain high.
If you're struggling, remember you're not alone, and support is available. Checking in with your doctor, talking with a friend, or joining a group activity can be a powerful first step.
Talking isn't just about reaching out it’s about getting connected and opening up.
Throughout Men’s Health Week, I’ll be writing a blog each day to bring awareness to different aspects of men’s health covering topics like mental well-being, physical health, and ways to seek support.
Stay tuned for daily posts to keep the conversation going!
I hope you’ve enjoyed my blog and that it helps bring awareness to Men’s Health Week.
Thanks for reading!
