Hello, readers!
I’m working from home today not out of the office in the Wantirna Knox area and i thought of a topic that would be helpful as we head into winter.
As it gets colder, more people tend to get sick.
Viruses thrive in cold weather, and the air is often dry, which can dry out the mucous membranes in your nose and throat, making it harder to catch and fight off germs. Another reason for increased illness is that we spend more time indoors with others, leading to a higher chance of spreading germs.
To boost your immunity, stay hydrated and maintain a healthy diet. A great addition to winter meals is garlic. You can add it to chicken soup or make garlic bread. Also, keep warm and avoid going in and out of the cold too much.
I also recommend Echinacea and vitamin C tablets from the pharmacy but always consult your doctor before taking anything new.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you stay healthy this winter!
