Healthy Sun vs. Unhealthy Sun

Hello all still writing abroad not from Wantirna Knox well, as I look out the window, I see the sunlight glitter off the leaves of the tree. I thought I would talk about what healthy sun exposure and unhealthy sun exposure are.

Healthy sun exposure: it’s a lovely time to spend time in the sun around midday if UV levels are not too high. Depending on your skin type and where you're from, the recommended time is 10 to 30 minutes because the sun helps our body produce vitamin D, which helps the immune system and bone health.

Unhealthy sun exposure: spending too much time in the sun when UV levels are high, or just too much time in general, can lead to heatstroke, sunburn, and itchy skin. It depends on the UV level, where you are, and your skin type.

So, remember slip, slop, slap.
