Hasn't the Price of everything been going up?

Times are getting tough; petrol is high shopping is through the roof, so the topic I'll be writing about is how I support small businesses and save bucks here and there just a couple of little tips I can share.

Well, on my way to work, when I don’t catch public transport, I catch a Didi or Uber and find that if I leave around a certain time, I save a couple of dollars, and if I use Didi for a while, I find Uber gives me promotions to entice me to switch back to them, and it can be up to a ten percent discount, capped at seven dollars; every cent counts, I say.

Now, how I support small businesses is by shopping at local fruit and veggie stores; it's much cheaper, and I feel good about helping local businesses. I got a bag of bananas the other day for a dollar; I still can't believe it's so cheap, and they were very ripe, but I use them for smoothies anyway. If I didn’t buy them, they might have been thrown out; that's another thing that makes me feel I'm helping less food go to waste in the bin if I can use them- why not.

I also go to my local pharmacy for medication and beauty products. They have great sales sometimes, and the staff there are so pleasant, and if I forget to pick up my medication, they have a delivery service for free, or if I'm really sick with the flu or something and it is not recommended to go outside, they deliver it for me.
