Hello readers,

I’m writing from a café today, not my usual location in Nunawading, and it’s coming to the end of Mental Health Awareness Month. I hope you all got involved in some way.

Today, I’m going to talk about why rest is productive for mental health. Rest is productive because taking time to slow down and recharge helps improve your mental health, reduce stress, increase focus, and restore the energy needed to perform at your best in everyday life.

Everyone experiences rest differently. Rest can be as simple as sleeping well, spending time in nature, disconnecting from social media, enjoying music or a good book, practicing mindfulness, or simply taking a moment to slow down and recharge.

Whatever works for you, don’t let yourself get burnt out or fatigued, as it can make your day worse than it already is. I hope my blogs have helped you learn something new or experience something positive.

Thanks for reading my blog.
