Summer garden update

Hello readers,

I’m working from home today instead of my usual locations in Wantirna and Knox, and I wanted to take a moment to share something exciting. This blog continues on with the garden updates which I’ve been uploading every now and then.

So how is the garden going? Well, exciting news! My tomato plant is a metre wide and about a metre tall now and has seven big tomatoes growing. The broad beans were taken out because the tomato plants don’t like too much nitrogen once they start fruiting, or at least that’s what we thought anyways. So we planted tomato plants there instead and left two broad bean plants.

The pulled out broad bean plant was placed on top of the garden to decompose back into the ground. We also put an irrigation pipe down through the garden.
