Hello readers,


I’m working from home today instead of my usual locations in Wantirna and Knox, and I wanted to take a moment to share something interesting.


New Year’s resolutions do they really work? I always start off well for a period of time, then end up reverting back to my old habits. Recently, I came across an idea about creating your own “not doing” list. Instead of focusing on what you need to do, you write down things you are not going to do or plan to cut back on.


The key is to keep these changes small so they’re not overwhelming. There is already a lot to do at the start of the year, so don’t put too much pressure on yourself. If you don’t stick to something, that’s okay just start again another time.


There’s a saying I heard that really stuck with me, growth isn’t about doing more all the time it can be about doing less as well. Start small and set goals that are achievable, timely, and reasonable.
