Hello readers,
I'm writing from home today, not from Wantirna or Knox the areas where I usually work. It's still Mental Health Month for the rest of October, and I want to write about how you can get involved.
The first way to get involved is through self care. This could be going for a walk, listening to music, or talking with friends and family. Anything that helps you relax and gets you out of your head can make a big difference.
Second, have deep and meaningful conversations about mental health. Connecting with your community through mental health events, walking groups, or art groups can help build support and reduce stigma.
Third, consider sharing your own experiences with mental health on social media like TikTok, Instagram, or Facebook. When people hear real stories, they often feel less alone. Sharing also helps spread ideas. We’re all different, and while what works for you might not work for everyone, it could still help someone else.
So get out there, connect with others, and help bring awareness to mental health.
Thanks for reading my blog!
