Hello readers,
I’m working from the Wantirna and Knox area today, and I wanted to take a moment to share something exciting. As we all know, it’s nearly summer, so I’m writing about some enjoyable outings for spring.
One of these is Melbourne Zoo, which I’ve blogged about before, but I have to mention it again because it is absolutely beautiful at this time of year. The weather is perfect, and the zoo has wide, smooth paths throughout the grounds, with most exhibits accessible without steps.
The second place I wanted to talk about is Melbourne Museum. It is one of the most accessible attractions in the city. The museum has lifts, wide pathways, accessible toilets, sensory-friendly information, and so much to explore and enjoy.
Next is the Royal Botanic Gardens, which is stunning in spring as well. The gardens have accessible paths, a wheelchair friendly Explorer vehicle, accessible toilets, and peaceful spaces for people with sensory needs.
I hope you’re able to visit one of these places this spring and enjoy everything they have to offer.
Thanks for reading my blog.
Enjoyable outings for spring
