International Men’s Day

Hello readers 

I’m working from home today instead of my usual locations in Wantirna and Knox, and I wanted to take a moment to share something important. It is International Men’s Day on the 19th of November.

International Men’s Day is about celebrating the positive impact of men and boys, as well as addressing the challenges they come across. This year’s theme is “Supporting Men and Boys.”

There are many ways you can show support, such as starting conversations about the challenges men and boys face, or hosting a BBQ or picnic to celebrate the positive impact they have in the community. This is a great idea, especially now that it’s spring.

Another way to get involved is by visiting the International Men’s Day website. They have a section called “Know Your Men Facts Toolkit,” which is very helpful. They also have blogs you can read, and you can contribute a donation as well.

So to all the boys and men thank you for your positive impact.
