It's Inclusion at Work Week

Hello readers,

I’m working from home today instead of my usual locations in Wantirna and Knox, and I wanted to take a moment to share something important. It is Inclusion at Work Week on the 17th to the 21st of November.

You might be thinking, What is Inclusion at Work Week?

Well, it is an annual celebration focusing on diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and it is organized by Diversity Council Australia. This year is their 40th anniversary.

Diversity means having a range of different people from different genders and different social and ethnic backgrounds.

Inclusion means accommodating and making people feel included, no matter their disability or needs.

How you can get involved is by registering for IAWW on the Diversity Council Australia website to get resources and information, and D&I Insights events such as D&I Fundamentals, Inclusive Leadership, and Preventing Gendered Violence at Work Open Program.
