Thanks for Stopping By!
Today, I’m writing from the comfort of my home rather than my usual spot in Nunawading, and it is Movember this November.
Movember is a global men's health movement that takes place every November. The name combines “MO"(Australian slang for moustache) and “November." During the month, many people grow a moustache, take part in fitness challenges, or raise funds to support men's health initiatives.
I will be writing about the importance of checking in on mates and Movember reminds us that a simple conversation can make a big difference. Many people experience stress, loneliness, or mental health challenges, but not everyone feels comfortable talking about it.
Taking the time to check in on a mate, family member, or colleague can help them feel supported and valued. A quick call, message, or catch-up may be exactly what someone needs to know they're not alone.
This Movember, let's try to reach out, listen, and support one another. Sometimes, asking "How are you really doing?" can mean more than you realise.
Thank you for reading our blog. Remember, a small conversation can make a big difference, and no one must face life's challenges alone.
Movember is here
