Today, I’m writing from the comfort of my home rather than my usual spot in Nunawading, and I would love to share an exciting outing that's disability-friendly this spring.
Aqualink Box Hill, located at Surrey Drive, Box Hill VIC 3128, offers excellent disability access, with pool hoists and ramp access available for the 25-metre indoor pool, 25-metre outdoor pool, and warm-water therapy pool, which is heated to approximately 33.5°C.
This is a great outing to do this spring. I love swimming, and you can bring a picnic out on the grass out the back of the swimming center and relax after a good swim.
Swimming is great exercise and is enjoyable if you're just paddling around or just doing laps, it's great for your wellbeing and health.
