Thanks for stopping by!
Today, I'm writing from the comfort of my home, not my usual spot in Nunawading. I want to talk about the benefits of expressing yourself through arts and creativity.
We run a day program that has arts and crafts, games, and much more, very exciting, so I thought about sharing the benefits of expressing yourself through arts and creativity.
I know for me, doing something creative and hands-on grounds me, relaxes me, and takes me out of my head and everyday problems very relieving mentally, physically and emotionally and I’ll tell you why.
So emotionally, it gives you a way to express your feelings without having to say them out loud; physically, it can help improve finger and hand movement and encourage you to stay active throughout the day; and lastly, mentally, it can help build confident self-expression and reduce stress, but there much more benefits than that.
There is also the best benefit, which is social connection: if you're doing art with others, that is, it's a great way to socialise, and being creative can help you learn new skills, and at the end of the day you feel accomplished.
If you have a loved one or are caring for someone who would want to join our day program, speak with one of our friendly team members.
Thank you for reading my blog! I hope you enjoyed it, and I look forward to sharing more with you soon.
