Hello readers!
I’m writing abroad, not from Wantirna and the Knox area, and I’m thinking about how beautiful it is going to be this autumn as it approaches! Can you imagine the orange, green, and purple colours glistening in the sunshine, with leaves gently falling all around you?
The days start to get shorter as the Earth tilts away from the sun, bringing earlier sunsets and later sunrises. There’s something so cosy and magical about this time of year.
I really love autumn. The only unfortunate thing is the number of leaves and branches you have to sweep up but even that can’t take away from how beautiful the season is!
Autumn is also the perfect time to get your garden ready. Some great vegetables to plant this Autumn can be kale, spinach, carrots, garlic, and broad beans. If you enjoy fresh herbs, parsley, coriander, and chives grow wonderfully at this time of year.
And let’s not forget flowers! Pansies and violas add gorgeous pops of colour, and spring bulbs like tulips are a fantastic choice to plant now for a stunning display later on.
Your garden can look and taste amazing this autumn! So, get ready to start planning your next crop to plant and thanks for reading my blog.
